Dusty - Steampunk design

Yes, I've joined the steampunk bandwagon. I cant help it, I love the designs of characters and their clothing. Its a very unique and creative genre in my opinion.

So this is my steampunk character, Dusty. She's an inventor and loves anything to do with flying. She is currently developing a working steam-powered hot air balloon made out of scrap metal and iron. (She's holding the prototype.) How she gets that hunk of metal in the air, I'll never know. She's the genius, not me ^_^;

Dusty is spunky and a little odd at times. She likes catching people off guard, but in a way that always makes them laugh. She also hums and muses to herself a lot when she's thinking.

I like her outfit and want to cosplay it sometime. Its not the most elaborate steampunk wear, but I'm happy with it ^^

I'm also very proud of how her hair turned out. Not sure if I like the background, but I've been working on and off Dusty for months and its time she was finished. Yay sense of accomplishment!
